End-of-life care planning is an essential yet deeply emotional process. I was brought in to work with the team at GoKart Labs to apply UX expertise and empathetic design thinking to a journey that needed to feel clear, supportive, and accessible for patients navigating some of the most difficult decisions of their lives.
Working through the iterative design process, I crafted user flows, wireframes, and UX copy for the Healthcare Directives process, focusing on reducing cognitive load and providing clarity at every step. I also collaborated with the team to reimagine the user dashboard and email communications as part of a proposed brand refresh, ensuring every touchpoint reflected Allina Health's mission of compassionate, forward-thinking care.
