Redesigning Virtuwell’s Member Health Portal, I infused fresh energy and clarity into virtual care, creating a seamless experience where scheduling expert healthcare feels as simple and approachable as a friendly check-in.
As Digital Art Director, I developed original creative concepts for Virtuwell, an innovative and affordable online healthcare diagnostic tool built around the principle of progressive disclosure. As users entered their symptoms, they were guided through a dynamic decision tree that refined their journey in real time, creating a more specific and relevant experience based on their medical concerns.
When first launched, this approach to user-informed, adaptive workflows was visionary, laying the groundwork for what has since become foundational in today’s machine learning–driven UX design. To support this personalized experience, I established a cohesive visual system across platforms, designing custom iconography and a modern, responsive UI optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Virtuwell was a pioneering online clinic offering on-demand, evidence-based care from board-certified nurse practitioners—available anytime, from anywhere. With a simple, step-by-step diagnostic process, patients could quickly address health concerns by answering a few questions and receiving personalized diagnoses and treatment plans within minutes.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary digital agency team, I helped define and streamline the end-to-end user journey. Our goal was to create a smooth, intuitive experience grounded in safety, accessibility, and ease of use, making it simple for users to schedule appointments and access care without unnecessary complexity.
