Project Overview:
Grocery Pickup

I led the Product Design to rapidly stand up both grocery pickup product during the first months of COVID lockdown uncertainty. My role required the ability to zoom in and out from high level to personal level when considering both the connected systems and the customers.

Working on an integrated agile team, I facilitated workshops, conducted ongoing in-store research, and both designed and directed design work in a process of rapid iteration.

Key Contributions

My role was pivotal in collaborating with cross-functional teams—developers, designers, stakeholders, and product managers—across legacy enterprise systems. In a highly siloed organization, I used diplomacy and persistence to break down barriers, drive communication, and ensure fast, accurate project implementation.
As Senior Product Designer, my role focused on design leadership and art direction from a UX perspective. I collaborated closely with the development team, leading consultants and junior designers to translate business needs into pixel-perfect, detailed UI designs. Additionally, I designed and implemented onboarding and offboarding processes for new team members in my city during COVID.
To break down silos and foster communication, I planned and led tailored workshops, including journey mapping and jobs-to-be-done sessions. I also streamlined the Google Design Sprint into a one-day format to accommodate the schedules of my busy product development team.
