Project Overview | USAF

As a consultant for a space-tech startup, I supported the redesign of the USAF’s Satellite Tracking Dashboard by creating wireframes, design systems, and stakeholder surveys, collaborating with developers to deliver optimized upgrades for global satellite tracking screens. I contributed to a custom Design System Library alongside developers and project managers, identifying key design patterns and visual elements to enhance accessibility, contrast, and information hierarchy.

Along the way, I gained a crash course in LEO, MEO, and HEO orbits while working under tight deadlines to refine complex, mission-critical displays, deepening my understanding of satellite systems and real-time data visualization.

Key Contributions: UX Designer

Working closely with developers and project managers, I helped build a comprehensive Design System Library, identifying key design patterns, components, and visual standards to improve accessibility, contrast, and information hierarchy across satellite tracking screens.
Led research under restricted conditions by implementing low-tech surveys and remote stakeholder feedback loops, addressing the usability needs of teams without internet or on-site access.
Created wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes tailored for LEO, MEO, and HEO orbit tracking, focusing on optimized contrast ratios and intuitive navigation for seamless satellite monitoring.
