Project Overview | Design System + Global Redesign

As a UX consultant for HealthPartners’ global redesign, I led the creation of a cohesive Design System Library and developed UX strategies to unify diverse brands under a consistent narrative, replacing fragmented legacy designs and code across their healthcare properties.

HealthPartners encompasses a number of properties in the healthcare space, each of which previously had their own content styles, development and designs. As part of a global effort to create a consistent narrative, I worked to establish the initial structure for a comprehensive Design System, and provided UX Strategy to the global redesign.

Key Contributions: Senior UX Designer

I led the design of a comprehensive Healthcare Design System and provided UX strategy for HealthPartners' global redesign. I conducted content, feature, and component audits, integrated design system standards, and delivered scalable, consistent solutions through documentation, wireframes, and research.
At the core of my role as Senior UX Designer was continuous research and testing to validate design approaches and uncover customer needs. Using methods like first-click tests, tree tests, user interviews, surveys, and content testing, I ensured designs were data-driven and aligned with user expectations.
As Senior UX Designer, I led the UX for HealthPartners' global redesign and developed a strategic healthcare Design System. This project required seamless collaboration across design, development, business, and product teams, along with organized UX leadership to ensure success at every stage.
